ABOUT CELEDORE & OUR FOUNDER, LAURIE
Our founder’s passion for interiors began in childhood, sparked by a love of creating thoughtful, beautifully arranged spaces. Over the years, that early curiosity evolved into a deep appreciation for color, pattern, and the subtle details that bring a room to life.
Though she first pursued a career in teaching and later nonprofit work, everything shifted when she and her husband renovated their first home. Immersed in magazines, materials, and finishes, she realized her true calling was design. Renovating multiple properties and assisting friends only deepened that passion—and when the opportunity to own Celedore arose, it felt like the path she’d been moving toward all along.
Today, she brings together her creative instincts, business experience, and deep appreciation for craftsmanship to shape Celedore into a welcoming design destination. Each day is spent surrounded by beautiful materials, helping customers discover the perfect wallpaper, fabric, or color—and creating a joyful, inspiring environment for both professionals and homeowners alike.
